Description: The galaxy NGC 2146 is gravitationally affected by a collision with the galaxy NGC 2146A (top left), which triggered the tumultuous formation of new stars at NGC 2146.
NGC 2146 (also known as the Dusty Hand Galaxy) is a barred spiral galaxy type SB(s)ab in the constellation Camelopardalis.
